29 CFR 1910.107(g)(2): Cleaning. All spraying areas shall be kept as free from the accumulation of deposits of combustible residues as practical, with cleaning conducted daily if necessary. Scrapers, spuds, or other such tools used for cleaning purposes shall be of nonsparking material: Employees engaged in spray painting activities were exposed to fire hazards in that the paint booth floor was not kept free from the accumulation of paint residues.

29 CFR 1910.134(e)(1): The employer shall provide a medical evaluation to determine the employee's ability to use a respirator, before the employee is fit tested or required to use the respirator in the workplace. The employer may discontinue an employee's medical evaluations when the employee is no longer required to use a respirator: (a) Employee working in blasting booth wearing a blasting helmet was exposed to health hazards in that a medical evaluation was not provided. (b) Employee working in spray painting booth wearing a 3M half-mask respirator was exposed to health hazards in that a medical evaluation was not provided.
