Superior Bronze Corporation, 1901 Poplar Street, Erie, PA, Production areas, on or about June 21st, 2016, and times prior thereto:  The employer did not ensure that respirators were kept clean and in a sanitary condition.  A wipe sample obtained from inside an employees half mask respirator (3M brand Model 6200) indicated the presence of toxic metals.          Analytical results indicated the presence of toxic metals, as follows:         1.    Inside surface of respirator:  65.8520 micrograms of copper, 2.7915 micrograms of manganese.

Superior Bronze Corporation, 1901 Poplar Street, Erie, PA, Production areas, on or about June 21st, 2016, and times prior thereto:  The employer did not ensure the eating/drinking areas and the locker room area were kept clean from toxic metals to the extent that the nature of work allowed. Wipe samples were obtained from drinking areas and the locker room area in the production areas of the facility.  Analytical results indicated the presence of toxic metals, as follows:       1.  Coffee pot in main office area:  59.1350 micrograms of copper, 6.5507 micrograms of manganese.   2.  Drinking fountain near furnace area:  13.68 micrograms of copper   3.  Employees locker within locker room area:  59.670 micrograms copper, 3.1629 micrograms of manganese, 7.6221 micrograms lead, inorganic, 37.2390 micrograms of iron oxide.
