The employees were handing and throwing the materials to two other employees working on the roof, exposing the employees to the hazard of being struck by falling objects.

29 CFR 1926.21(b)(2): The employer did not instruct each employee in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions and the regulations applicable to his/her environment to control or eliminate any hazards or other exposure to illness or injury: On or about June 16, 2016, four employees were conducting framing operations on a residential home under construction without the employer providing training on the potential hazards on the site. Employees were using pneumatic nail guns and circular saws without eye protection, and working within the structure without head protection where overhead hazards were present. The employees were exposed to the hazard of being struck by falling and flying objects.
