29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards: a- 603, 605, 607 & 609 East 5th Street, Lakewood NJ: A company employee was exposed to fall hazards, in excess of 25 feet to the ground surface below, when performing framing, carpentry and other related activities from the tops of pitched and flat roof trusses without the use of any fall protection. It was determined through interviews of the company worksite employees that the worksite company employees had not received any fall hazard recognition or prevention training from the company. Condition noted on or about 06/20/16. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
