29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):   a) On or about May 24, 2016; Rear of building (North-side); employees working on renovating a residential home were not protected from a 10 foot fall to the lower level or 16 feet to ground level while working on the trusses.    b) On or about May 24, 2016; First and second floor; employees working on renovating a residential home were exposed to a 10 foot fall to the lower level while working near unguarded floor openings; at the rear of the building and stair opening.    c) On or about May 24, 2016; First and second floor; employees working on renovating a residential home were exposed to a 10 foot fall to the lower level while accessing the unguarded stairs.   In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet), in addition, documentation demonstrating the abatement is complete must be included with your certification.  This documentation may include, but is not limited to evidence of the purchase or repair of the equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement, or other written records.
