OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm in that employees were exposed to fire or explosion hazards from enclosureless dust collectors that were located inside the building and were positioned near occupied work areas:      A.)  Allegheny Store Fixtures, Inc. dba Allegheny Trico - On or about 6/29/16, and at times prior thereto:  Employees who perform work activities, including, but not limited to, woodworking were exposed to a potential fire or explosion hazards from combustible wood dust in a Cincinnati Fan #44 enclosureless dust collection system.  The Cincinnati enclosureless dust collection system was within 20-feet of work operations, an area routinely occupied by personnel, means of egress, and the dust was not emptied daily.  These work operations, included, but were not limited to, planing and sawing operations.    B.)  Allegheny Store Fixtures, Inc. dba Allegheny Trico - On or about 6/29/16, and at times prior thereto:  Employees who perform work activities, including, but not limited to, woodworking were exposed to a potential fire or explosion hazards from combustible wood dust in a DustMaster enclosureless dust collection system.  The DustMaster enclosureless dust collection system was within 20-feet of work operations, an area routinely occupied by personnel, means of egress,  and the dust was not emptied daily.  These work operations, included, but were not limited to, sawing operations.    C.)  Allegheny Store Fixtures, Inc. dba Allegheny Trico - On or about 6/29/16, and at times prior thereto:  Employees who perform work activities, including, but not limited to, woodworking were exposed to a potential fire or explosion hazards from combustible wood dust in a NodFab enclosureless dust collection system.  The Nordfab enclosureless dust collection system was within 20-feet of an area routinely occupied by personnel, means of egress,  and the dust was not removed daily.  These work operations, included, but were not limited to, sawing operations.
