OSH Act of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to a fall hazards while working at elevated heights during tree trimming operations.       On or about June 27, 2016, the employer did not require the qualified line-clearance arborist employees, when working at heights greater than one-half the length of the climbing line, to have a stopper knot tied in at the end of the climbing line to prevent pulling the line through the climbing hitch. Employees were exposed to fall hazards while performing tree trimming activities for a 69 kV electric power transmission line.
