29 CFR 1910.106(g)(8): In the yard at the off-road diesel fuel tank and pump, conspicuous and legible signs prohibiting smoking were not posted at the diesel fuel refueling area.    a. On or about Jan 25, 2016, at the "tank farm" where areas where flammables and combustibles materials were located, it was observed that "no-smoking" signs were missing.       NOTE:   Certification of abatement is not required for this citation item since it was submitted prior to citation issuance.

29 CFR 1910.157(c)(1):  Portable fire extinguishers were not mounted, located and identified so that they were readily accessible without subjecting the employees to injuries:      a.    On or about Jan 25, 2016 at the dry stack, employees were exposed to fire hazards while operating vehicles and power industrial trucks were in the vicinity and no fire extinguishers were identified in case of a sudden fire.         b.   On or about Jan 25, 2016 at the mechanic shop, employees were exposed to fire hazards while operating vehicles and power industrial trucks were in the vicinity and no fire extinguishers were identified in case of a sudden fire.         NOTE:  Certification of abatement is not required for this citation item since it was submitted prior to citation issuance.

On or about Jan 25, 2016, employees were exposed to a chemical corrosive from using gasoline, diesel, paints, oils, hydraulic fluid and other chemicals while performing marina maintenance operations on travel lifts with no safety data sheets available.
