The passageway/exit routes throughout the lab were not equipped with devices to provide adequate lighting during a power outage.

Where the employer has provided portable fire extinguishers for employee use in the workplace, the employer shall also provide an educational program to familiarize employees with the general principles of fire extinguisher use and the hazards involved with incipient stage fire fighting. The employer shall provide the education required in paragraph (g)(1) of this section upon initial employment and at least annually thereafter: A.) Analytical Services, Inc. - On or about 7/6/16, and at times prior thereto, employees had not received initial and annual fire extinguisher training. Fire extinguishers including but not limited to Type ABC extinguishers were distributed in the workplace for use by employees.
