29 CFR 1910.1026(f)(1)(ii): Painting of aircraft or large aircraft parts was performed; however, the employer did not use feasible engineering and work practice controls to reduce and maintain employee exposures to chromium (VI) to or below 25 micrograms per cubic meter of air: Employees engaged in sanding and preparation of aircraft were over exposed hexavalent chromium at an 8 hour time Weighted Average concentration of 43.25 ug/m3 which exceeds the OSHA PEL of 25 ug/m3 during the 453 minutes of personal sampling performed on July 20, 2016.
