OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): OSH ACT of 1970 Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970:The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to struck-by and caught-in hazards. Employees operating rough terrain forklifts without seat belts while engaged in residential framing operations were exposed to struck-by hazards.

Employees engaged in residential framing activities without fall protection were exposed to fall hazards in excess of six feet. Advanced Framing was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1132146, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 04/20/2016, with respect to a workplace located at 151 Clara Bennett, Olimito, TX 78575.
