29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Eye and face protective equipment was not used when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury: a) 960-987 Lake Avenue, Unit #7, Clark, NJ 07066. Employee was allowed to operate a pneumatic nail when erecting timber walls while not wearing any eye and or face protection exposing the employee to eye and face injuries from flying debris. Condition occurred on or about 07/13/16. JP Group Corp. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1013916, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 04/02/2015, with respect to a workplace located at 960-987 Lake Avenue, Unit #3, Clark NJ 07066.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet or more above the lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, nor was an alternative fall protection plan which meets the requirements of 29 CFR 1926.502(k) developed and implemented: a) 960-987 Lake Avenue, Unit #7, Clark, NJ 07066. Employees were allowed to work on and from the first floor deck of a new townhome, installing new framed timber walls with no fall protection in place exposing them to fall hazards. Condition occurred on or about 07/13/16. JP Group Corp. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1013916, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 04/02/2015, with respect to a workplace located at 960-987 Lake Avenue, Unit #3, Clark NJ 07066.
