The bottom of the guard shall come to within three-eighths inch of a plane formed by bottom or contact face of the feed roll where it touches the stock.  (a)  On or about July 19, 2016, a Barberan Model No. PL-32 veneer wrapper machine located in the wrapper #1 line did not have any guarding to prevent employees from accessing the ingoing nip point created by the glue roll in-feed when employees handfed the veneer.  (b)  On or about July 19, 2016, a Barberan Model No. PL-32-E veneer wrapper machine located in the wrapper #2 line did not have any guarding to prevent employees from accessing the ingoing nip point created by the glue roll in-feed when employees handfed the veneer.
