Employees are exposed to possible diseases from bat guano when they access this area to change light bulbs or perform maintenance on the HVAC system.   b)  Building 18;  A large pile of bird feces was located outside the roll-up door and employees were walking through it to access the work area which exposed them to possible diseases from bird feces.

29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(6)(ii): Except as provided in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(7) and 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(8), the employer did not ensure that each container of hazardous chemicals in the workplace was labeled, tagged or marked with the product identifier and words, pictures, symbols, or combination thereof, which provide at least general information regarding the hazards of the chemicals and which, in conjunction with the other information immediately available to employees under the hazard communication program, would provide employees with the specific information regarding the physical and health hazards of the hazardous chemical:  a)      Building 2 Shop;  A Home Depot All Purpose Sprayer was not labeled with the contents (cutting oil).   b)      Building 6 East;  A secondary container of 70% ETOH did not have a flammable hazard warning.   c)      Building 6 West;  A secondary container of bleach solution did not have a corrosive label.   d)      Shellfish Laboratory;  A secondary container of concentrated Vortexx had a label which was worn and not legible. The Vortexx bottle also needs an oxidizer hazard warning.   e)      Shellfish Laboratory, Microscope Room;  A secondary container of 70% isopropyl alcohol did not have a hazard label warning.   f)       Building 12-1B;  Two secondary bottles of 70% ETOH did not have flammable hazard warnings.   g)      Outside building 12; An outdoor propane tank did not have a label or a hazard warning.
