29 CFR 1910.157(c)(1): The employer shall provide portable fire extinguishers and shall mount, locate and identify them so that they are readily accessible to employees without subjecting the employees to possible injury. a) In the warehouse area between the bay doors, employees were exposed to fire hazards when a fire extinguisher was blocked from access. This violation was observed on or about July 21, 2016. b) In the warehouse area near the southwest exit door, employees were exposed to fire hazards when a fire extinguisher was blocked from access. This violation was observed on or about July 21, 2016. c) In the warehouse area near the east non-exit door, employees were exposed to fire hazards when a fire extinguisher was blocked from access. This violation was observed on or about July 21, 2016. d) In the warehouse area near the south office area, employees were exposed to fire hazards when a fire extinguisher was blocked from access. This violation was observed on or about July 21, 2016. e) In the office area, employees were exposed to fire hazards when a fire extinguisher was blocked from access. This violation was observed on or about July 21, 2016.
