29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3): Exit route(s) were not kept free and unobstructed: A. On or about July 25, 2016, Mattress Storage Area: Access to the emergency exit in the southeast corner of the shop continued to be obstructed by the placement of mattresses and box springs. A pile of mattresses had toppled, complete blocking access to the exit door. B. On or about July 25, 2016, Front Loading Area: Access to the exit route along the right side of the building was blocked by the placement of a box spring, excess plastic sheeting and a pallet holding a Coleman Powermate Model XL 5006016 air compressor. Recyc-Mattresses Corp. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (1910.37(a)(3)), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1086374, Serious Citation Number 1, Item Number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on October 26, 2015, with respect to a workplace located at 12 Eastern Park Road, East Hartford, Connecticut. Recyc-Mattresses Corp. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (1910.37(a)(3)), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 116974, Repeat Citation Number 2, Item Number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on July 19, 2016, with respect to a workplace located at 12 Eastern Park Road, East Hartford, Connecticut.
