29 CFR 1910.23(a)(8): Every floor hole into which persons can accidentally walk shall be guarded by either: On or about August 1, 2016, in the stacking area, employees were stacking bricks while standing on top of the cart platform that consisted of a base made up of broken bricks and gaps that measured up to approximately 5 inches apart. The employees were exposed to the hazard of tripping while working on this surface.
