29 CFR 1910.305(g)(2)(iii): Flexible cords and cables were not connected to devices and fittings so that strain relief was provided that would prevent pull from being directly transmitted to joints or terminal screws: a. On or about 28, 2016, in the kitchen area, a Model H-600-DT Hobart dough mixer was hard-wired to an electrical outlet and did not have any strain-relief, in that both ends of the cord had exposed wiring. An employee attempted to move the mixer to another area of the kitchen and was electrically shocked by 190V of electricity, resulting in a hospitalization.
