29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.    On August 10, 2016, an employee was not protected from a fall while walking/working on the roof of a commercial building, exposing the employee to a fall of over 25 feet.     SUN RAY HEATING, INC. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 107811, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on November 9, 2011, with respect to a workplace located at 550 River Oaks Dr. Calumet City, IL 60409.    Abatement documentation is required of this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
