29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.      (a) C Spire Building - On or about August 10, 2016 an employee was exposed to a 70 feet fall hazard while sitting on a parapet wall and tossing a battery to an employee that was in a suspended personnel basket.  Employee was not protected from falling to a lower level by a guardrail system or personal fall arrest system or safety net system. The personnel basket was suspended by a truck crane.     The Headrick Signs & Graphics, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 848424, citation number 1, item number 4 and was affirmed as a final order on April 10, 2013, with respect to a workplace located at Word of Life Mission Outreach Center, 1133 W. Capitol Street, Jackson, MS 39203.      The Headrick Signs & Graphics, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 315304444, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on October 21, 2011, with respect to a workplace located at 690 Grants Ferry Road, Flowood, MS 39232.
