29 CFR 1910.147(c)(1): The employer did not establish a program consisting of an energy control procedure, employee training and periodic inspections to ensure that before any employee performed any servicing or maintenance on a machine or equipment where the unexpected energizing, startup or release of stored energy could occur and cause injury, the machine or equipment shall be isolated from the energy source and rendered inoperative:  a) Laundry Room - The employer failed to develop and utilize a lockout procedure for employees performing duties involving maintenance on a roller press. On or about June 25, 2015 the electrical disconnect on the Challenger press  was not locked out prior to an employee attempting to grease and perform other maintenance on the unit.  Angel's Linen Services was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.147(c)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1073425, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on July 15, 2016, with respect to a workplace located at 1286 Citizens Parkway, Suite C, Morrow, Georgia 30260.

29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use:   a) Laundry Room: The employer failed to ensure that an eyewash/shower unit was available for employees immediate use in the event of emergency. Employees were exposed to materials such as, but not limited to, sodium hypochlorite, liquid alkali, Ultraterge Lin and other injurious materials while performing washing of linens and other articles.  Angel's Linen Services was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.151(c), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1073425, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on July 15, 2016, with respect to a workplace located at 1286 Citizens Parkway, Suite C, Morrow, Georgia 30260.
