29 CFR 1926.652(a)(1): Each employee in an excavation was not protected from cave-ins by an adequate protective system designed in accordance with 29 CFR 1926.652(c).    a) Work site was located at 3503 U.S. Route 46, Parsippany, NJ 07054.  Two employees were exposed to struck by hazards as they were working in an excavation  that was approximately 7 feet wide by 14 feet long and 6 feet deep in Class B soil that was not properly protected against cave ins by adequate protective systems.  Violation was observed on or about 8/9/2016.
