29 CFR 1910.242(a): The employer did not ensure that employees were furnished with tools and equipment that were in a safe condition: a) Express Services, Inc., on or about 6/29/16: The employer did not ensure that employees were furnished with tools that were in safe condition. A temporary employee working at Syracuse Plastics, LLC suffered a severe laceration to their thumb while trimming flash on a 12208 Bezel. The cutting tool used to trim the flash was not equipped with a guard that prevented contact with the blade.
