29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3): Exit route(s) were not kept free and unobstructed:    a) 16849 Roadrunner Dr. Bridgeville, DE, Saw Room in front end of the building - On or about August 24, 2016, the employer failed to maintain free and unobstructed exit routes, in that the exit route was obstructed by wood, tools, and plant growth.  In one area, the exit route was narrowed to approximately 8 inches.      b) 16849 Roadrunner Dr. Bridgeville, DE,  Saw room in the rear end of the building - On or about November 18, 2016, the employer failed to maintain free and unobstructed exit routes, in that exit route was obstructed by wood, pallets, waste and debris, vines, and plant growth.  The exit route was narrowed to approximately 12 inches.

Note: Pursuant to 29 CFR 1903.19, the employer must submit abatement certification and documentation, required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date and method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement. Abatement documentation shall include documents demonstrating that abatement is complete, such as evidence of the purchase or repair of equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement or other written documentation.
