29 CFR 1910.107(b)(2): The interior surface of spray booth(s) were not smooth and continuous without edges and otherwise designed to prevent pocketing of residues and to facilitate cleaning and washing without injury: On or about August 25, 2016, the employer failed to ensure that the Small Parts Paint Booth's interior had smooth and continuous edges free from pocketed residue. Tools, cleaning equipment, paint and flammable materials were stored in the Small Parts Paint Booth during operation, including but not limited to, a permanently placed flammable storage cabinet, a cleaning cart, and tool boxes.

29 CFR 1910.107(e)(2): The quantity of flammable liquids or liquids with a flashpoint greater than 199.4 degrees F (93 degrees C) kept in the vicinity of spraying operations were not a minimum required for operations or they exceeded a supply for one day or one shift: On or about August 25, 2016, the employer failed to keep flammable liquids within the vicinity of spraying operations at a minimum required for operations of one shift. In the Small Parts Paint Booth there is a permanently placed flammable storage cabinet containing flammable liquids. Additionally, there was bulk storage of paint in the Small Parts Paint Booth in a quantity greater than what was needed for one shift.
