29 CFR 1926.28(a): The employer did not require the wearing of appropriate personal protective equipment in all operations where there is an exposure to hazardous conditions. On or about August 26, 2016, at the above addressed worksite, where employees are exposed to and required to work with hazardous chemicals, such as, but not limited to Crown Lacquier Thinner Next, Crown Paint Thinner, Klean Strip Denatured Alcohol, Wood Classics FastDry Sanding Sealer, Savogran Superstrip Paint Remover, and Rustoleum Quick Color Aerosol Spray Enamel during painting operations, the employer failed to ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate hand protection, such as, but not limited to, chemically impervious gloves.
