29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1): Each employee on a scaffold more than 10 feet above a lower level were not protected from falling to that lower level: (a). Worksite located at 20105 E. Valleyview Road, Independence, Missouri- An employee was observed using a mobile scaffold to access the roof. The employee climbed on the guardrails of the scissor lift in order to access and egress the roof structure. Employee was exposed to fall hazards while climbing these rails.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: (a). Worksite located at 20105 E. Valleyview Parkway, Independence, Missouri- An employee was observed working and walking on a steep roof without any means of fall protection. Interurban Restoration & Construction Company was previously cited for a violation of the occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 918628, Citation 1, Item 2, and was affirmed as a final order on August 14, 2013, with respect to a workplace location at 2010 Village Dr., St. Joseph, Missouri.
