29 CFR 1910.22(a)(1): All places of employment, passageways, storerooms or service rooms were not kept clean and orderly or in a sanitary condition. a) Plant - On or about 09/07/16 and at times prior thereto the metal plates installed as floor reinforcement were loose and bent, and were not not secured to the floor. Employees were exposed to trip/fall hazards created by protruding plate edges and screws. Or in the Alternative: 29 CFR 1910.22(a)(3): Every floor, working place, and passageway was not kept free from protruding nails, splinters, holes, or loose boards: a) Plant - On or about 09/07/16 and at times prior thereto the metal plates installed as floor reinforcement were loose and bent, and were not not secured to the floor. Employees were exposed to trip/fall hazards created by protruding plate edges and screws. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
