OSH ACT of 1970 Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to thermal burn hazards: On or about September 6, 2016, employees were exposed to thermal burn hazards, while walking and working near a blow off skimmer drain line, which was not guarded to prevent contact from the steam.

29 CFR 1910.305(b)(1)(i): Conductors entering cutout boxes, cabinets, or fittings were not protected from abrasion, and openings through which conductors enter were not effectively closed: Oil Pump Area: On or about September 6, 2016, and at times prior thereto, employees were exposed to electrical hazards from exposed 230 volt conductors entering a conduit fitting while working near an oil pump.
