29 CFR 1910.178(l)(3)(i): Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) drivers were not trained to recognize the hazards associated with operating PITs having limited visibility due to loading in areas where there is pedestrian traffic. On or about September 6, 2016, at the above addressed jobsite, employees were exposed to struck-by hazards due to a forklift operator who had not been adequately trained about the hazards associated with operating a forklift with a load that obstructed his view in areas with pedestrian traffic.
