29 CFR 1910.213(r)(4): Suitable guard(s) were not provided to reduce to a minimum the hazard due to the point of operation of a Monet truss component saw: a) For the facility, as observed on or about 09/06/2016, employees were exposed to amputation hazards due to missing guards on a Monet component saw used to make 90 degree cuts to lumber. The saw's blade and the saw's chain guide were unguarded. On 08/30/2016, an employee's finger was trapped on the chain guide resulting in a finger-tip amputation.
