29 CFR 1910.23(b)(3): 29 CFR 1910.23(b)(3): Every window wall opening at a stairway landing, floor, platform, or balcony, from which there was a drop of more than 4 feet, and where the bottom of the opening was less than3 feet above the platform or landing, was not guarded by standard slats, standard grill work (as specified in paragraph (e)(11) of this section), or standard railing:   The following violations were observed on or about September 15, 2016.     a.  On the grease finishing tanks where employees were exposed to a 11 foot fall hazard when loading chemicals into the mixing tanks without being protected from falling.     b.  On the storage tanks where an employee was exposed to a fall hazard of 8 feet when checking tank depths without being protected from falling.
