29 CFR 1910.138(a): The employer did not select and require employees to use appropriate hand protection when employees hands are exposed to hazards: a) Midway Products Group, Inc. (d.b.a. Lakepark Industries) located in Greenwich, Ohio; On or about September 13, 2016 the employer failed to ensure that the Bridgeport EZ Trak Series II vertical milling machine was adequately guarded to protect employees from its point of operation. Employees were exposed to caught-in and amputation hazards in that the rotating drill bit was unguarded.
