29 CFR 1926.100(a): Employees working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury from impact, or falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns, were not protected by protective helmets:  On or about October 6, 2016, at Lot 143, 6055 Meyers Park, Suwanee, Georgia:  Six employees performing framing work were exposed to struck-by hazards from falling ladder, tools, and materials when they worked on the ground floor underneath employees working on the second floor without wearing head protection.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed:  On or about October 6, 2016, at Lot 143, 6055 Meyer Park, Suwanee, Georgia:  Three employees performing framing work were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 11.5-feet when they used a Werner aluminum extension ladder that was not set at least three feet above the second floor landing.

29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Eye and face protective equipment were not used when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents.  On or about October 6, 2016, at Lot 143, 6055 Meyer Park, Suwanee, Georgia:  a) An employee performing framing work was exposed to a struck-by hazard from wood chips and nails while operating a Hitachi nail gun without wearing eye protection.   b) An employee performing framing work was exposed to a struck-by hazard from wood chips and saw dust while operating a Makita 7.25-inch circular saw without using eye protection.  ATL GA Construction, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1126125, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 04/11/2016, with respect to a workplace located at Lot 23 Luckett Court, Smyrna, GA.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):   On or about October 6, 2016, at Lot 143, 6055 Meyers Park, Suwanee, Georgia:  a) An employee performing framing work was exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 10.3-feet while working on a porch roof without using fall protection.   b) Two employees performing framing work were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 11.5-feet while working on an approximately 16.3-feet long unprotected edge of the second floor of a house without using fall protection.  ATL GA Construction, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1126125, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on 04/11/2016, with respect to a workplace located at Lot 23 Luckett Court, Smyrna, GA.
