At the worksite, on the south side of a 4/12 pitch roof of a new construction commercial structure, an employee working on a skylight is not being protected from fall hazards by a fall protection system: The employer fails to assure effective protection against falls as required by the standard, as demonstrated on October 17, 2016, while  an employee working on a skylight of a structure located at 5805 Highway 90 in Milton, Florida is exposed to the hazard of an 18-foot, 8-inch fall hazard to the ground below and does not have personal fall arrest systems or anchor points in use.    Southern Plus Enterprises was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1051331, citation number 01, item number 01b and was affirmed as a final order on May 28, 2015, with respect to a workplace located at 23344 Perdido Beach Blvd, Lot 7 & 8, Orange Beach, AL 36561.
