29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3): Exit route(s) were not kept free and unobstructed:  (a) On or about October 26, 2016, on the dock at Gate 5, equipment, such as but not limited to wiretainers and carts, was staged in the exit route. The path of egress was reduced to 18 inches, exposing employees to fire hazards.  The U.S. Postal Service was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard [29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3)], which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1110162, citation number 1, item number 1A and was affirmed as a final order on April 1, 2016, with respect to a workplace located at 1400 Pine Street, San Francisco, California 94109.  The U.S. Postal Service was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard [29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3)], which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1010032, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on April 7, 2015, with respect to a workplace located at 11251 Rancho Carmel Drive, San Diego, California 92199.

29 CFR 1910.37(b)(2): Each exit was not clearly visible and marked by a sign reading "Exit":  (a)  On or about October 26, 2016, in the weld room, the interior exit door leading to the exit access hallway was not marked with an "Exit" sign, exposing employees to fire hazards.   The U.S. Postal Service was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard [(29 CFR 1910.37(b)(2)], which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1110162, citation number 1, item number 1B, and was affirmed as a final order on April 1, 2016, with respect to a workplace located at 1400 Pine Street, San Francisco, California 94109.  The U.S. Postal Service was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard [(29 CFR 1910.37(b)(2)], which was contained in OSHA inspection number 997104, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on November 28, 2014, with respect to a workplace located at 2226 Macarthur Boulevard, Oakland, California 94602.

29 CFR 1910.303(g)(1): Sufficient access and working space was not provided and maintained about all electric equipment (operating at 600 volts, nominal, or less to ground) to permit ready and safe operation and maintenance of such equipment:  a) On or about October 26, 2016, the electrical panel located at AA-4, which provided power to the lookout gallery, was blocked with an empty pallet.   b) On or about October 26, 2016, the electrical panel located at M-8, which provided power to the lookout gallery, signal lights, exhaust fans, and time clocks, was blocked by empty sack racks.   The U.S. Postal Service was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard [29 CFR 1910.303(g)(1)(i)] which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1049855, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on June 23, 2015, with respect to a workplace located at 1675 7th Street, Oakland, California 94615.  The U.S. Postal Service was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard [29 CFR 1910.303(g)(1)] which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1020342, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on April 16, 2015, with respect to a workplace located at 337 West Clark Street, Eureka, California 95501.
