29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b): a) Front elevation of building - On or about November 9, 2016, employees were exposed to the hazard of falling approximately 22 feet from the top of a wall to the basement while performing carpentry work. b) Front elevation of building - On or about November 9, 2016, employees were exposed to the hazard of falling approximately 13 feet from the top of a wall to the exterior of the building while performing carpentry work. c) Front elevation of building - On or about November 9, 2016, employees were exposed to the hazard of falling approximately 10 feet from the top of a wall to the first level interior deck of the building while performing carpentry work. d) Front elevation of building - On or about November 9, 2016, employees were exposed to the hazard of falling approximately 12 feet from the first level deck to the basement while performing carpentry work. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET), and in addition, documentation demonstrating that abatement is complete must be included with your certification. This documentation may include, but is not limited to, evidence of the purchase or repair of the equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement, or other written records.
