29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b): a. On or about November 14, 2016, two employees tearing off old roofing shingles and one employee installing eave drip on a 8:12 pitch roof were not protected from falling up to 20 feet by the use of a guardrail system, safety net system or personal fall arrest system. Roof-It-Right, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1137484, citation number 01, item number 001 and was affirmed as a final order on May 6, 2016, with respect to a workplace located at 3271 Chimney Drive, Middleburg, FL 32068.
