29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i): Procedures were not developed, documented and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees were engaged in activities covered by this section:    On or about November 7, 2017, on the CIM Line KM Machine:    Employees were exposed to thermal burns while performing servicing and maintenance on the CIM Line KM Machine using nylon material at temperatures of approximately 285 degrees Celsius.  Employees were exposed to the unexpected release of hazardous energy when the employer did not establish written procedures for tasks including, but not limited to removing cold slugs that jam the die.    HP Pelzer Automotive Systems, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.147(c)(4)(i), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1133070, citation number 2, item number 4, and was affirmed as a final order on September 21, 2016, with respect to a workplace located at 1884 Warrenton Highway, Thomson, Georgia.    HP Pelzer Automotive Systems, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 924666, citation number 1, item number 5, issued on 01/28/2014 and affirmed as a final order on  02/20/2014, with respect to a workplace located at 1884 Warrenton Hwy, Thomson, GA 30824.
