29 CFR 1910.146(c)(1): The employer did not evaluate the workplace to determine if any spaces are permit-required confined spaces. a) On or about December 14, 2016, and at times prior thereto, the employer had not evaluated the below ground access area to the painting department's bead blast room's conveyer system as part of their confined space entry procedure program. Employees such as but not limited to, Maintenance personnel are required to enter this area to perform periodic preventative maintenance tasks and repairs.
