29 CFR 1910.242(b): Compressed air used for cleaning purposes was not reduced to less than 30 p.s.i. and then only with effective chip guarding and personal protective equipment: (a) Weapons Cleaning Room: Employees were exposed to flying parts and pieces and air embolisms while using a Dewalt D55146, 1.6 HP Continuous, 200 PSI, 4.5 Gallon Compressor air nozzles with approximately 50 p.s.i. of unregulated air at the nozzle.
