29 CFR 1926.202: Barricades for protection of employees did not conform to the portions of the American National Standards Institute D6.1-1971, Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices for Streets and Highways, relating to barricades: On December 1, 2016, and times prior thereto, an employee was exposed to a struck-by hazard by vehicular traffic while working on a manhole. The employer did not ensure signs, barricades, and or devices utilized for employee protecting; in accordance with the manual for uniform manual control devices.
