29 CFR 1910.215(b)(9): The distance between the abrasive wheel periphery(s) and the adjustable tongue or the end of the safety guard peripheral member at the top exceeded one fourth inch: a)Fabrication Area: On or about December 9, 2016 and times prior, an employee used a Craftsman 6" inch abrasive bench grinder (0351.W) to clean up small parts or sharpen dull drill bits. The right side adjustable tongue guard on the grinder was not adjusted resulting in a 1/2 inch opening between the abrasive wheel and the tongue guard.
