Detachable side protectors (e.g. clip-on or slide-on side shields) meeting the pertinent requirements of this section are acceptable: (a) On December 15, 2016, an employee chipping concrete was not wearing eye protection that met the requirements specified in ANSI Z 87.1-1968.
