OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to crushing and struck-by hazards while using an automotive lift:    (a)  On or about December 15, 2016, and at times prior, the employer did not ensure that employees         were safe from crushing and struck-by hazards in that the following lifts were noted with deficiencies:        (1)  Rotary lift, model SPO15, serial #CBB952B0006, located in bay 28, was not lowered to rest on the                locking mechanism while the lift was raised and in use.             (2)  Rotary lift, model SP015, serial #CBB95B005, located in bay 41, was not lowered to rest on the            locking mechanism while the lift was raised and in use.              (3)  Challenger lift, model CL10V3, serial #1004-57392, located in bay 42, was not lowered to rest on the             locking mechanism while the lift was raised and in use.
