29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer shall ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation.   On or about 12/19/16 located at 200 Brady Pkwy., Cumming, GA:  Employees were observed installing lumber with a pneumatic nail gun for the walls and the flooring on the 2nd floor on a new apartment that was under construction and using a skill saw to cut lumber with without safety glasses.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.  On or about 12/19/16 located at 200 Brady Pkwy., Cumming, GA: Employees were observed framing and installing the 2nd floor walls, and the floor covering on an apartment that was under construction while working at the edges of the staircase floor hole opening, the employer did not ensure that guardrails or floor hole coverings was used by the employees while exposed to fall hazards of approximately up to 11- feet deep.
