29 CFR 1926.451(g)(2): The employer did not have a competent person determine the feasibility and safety of providing fall protection for employees erecting or dismantling supported scaffolds. or the employer did not require fall protection for employees erecting or dismantling supported scaffolds where the installation and use of such protection was feasible and did not create a greater hazard: a) Job site, at/near 659 Washington Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA: On or about January 4, 2017, during scaffold dismantling activities, the employer did not ensure that an appropriate analysis of the feasibility and safety of using fall protection was performed and did not ensure that appropriate fall protection systems/devices were used where employees were exposed to falls of up to approximately 12 feet.
