Transferring by means of air pressure on the container or portable tanks shall be prohibited. a. BDJ/Techmation, Inc. located in West Unity, Ohio: On or about December 7, 2016, the employer did not ensure employees who were filling the acetone dip tank by lifting 55 gallon drums above the dip tank with the forklift, dispensed the acetone through a self-closing valve. Two 55 gallon metal drums of acetone were tipped onto their side, positioned between the forks on the lift truck, and suspended over the dip tank to fill the tank.

BDJ/Techmation, Inc. located in West Unity, Ohio: On or about December 7, 2016, the employer permitted spark producing equipment to be used in the vapor area of the dip tank when employees were using steel shovels to remove acetone and paint residue from the bottom of the dip tank.
