29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): The employer did not develop, implement, and/or maintain at the workplace a written hazard communication program which describes how the criteria specified in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f), (g), and (h) will be met: Written Hazard Communication Program: Employees were exposed to chemical hazards in that a written hazard communication program had not been developed and maintained in the workplace to address the required elements. Hazardous chemicals include, but are not limited to, an unlabeled chemical identified in room 131.

1910.1200(f)(6): The employer did not ensure that each container of hazardous chemicals in the workplace was labeled, tagged or marked with the information specified under paragraphs (f)(6)(i) through (ii) of this section: Room 131: Employees were exposed to chemical hazards in that an unknown blue colored chemical stored in room 131 was not labeled. The U. S Department Of The Interior, U. S. Geological Service was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(6), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 115485, citation number 2, item number 4 and was affirmed as a final order on 11/7/2016, with respect to a workplace located at 2730 North Deer Run Road, Carson City, NV 89701.
