29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed  a)  At 2453 Mimms Lane Auburn, Alabama:  On or about January 10, 2017 and at times prior; the employer allowed his employees to use a ladder on site to gain access to the top of the ceiling joists and the rails of the ladder did not extend at least 3 feet above the landing area providing his employees with a safe access and exposing them to a fall hazard of 10 feet 1 inch to ground below.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):   a)  At 2453 Mimms Lane Auburn, Alabama:  On or about January 10, 2017 and at times prior; the employer allowed his employees to perform framing activities from the roof trusses without fall protection exposing them to a fall hazard of 13 feet 5 inches to the ground below.  b)  At 2453 Mimms Lane Auburn, Alabama:  On or about January 10, 2017 and at times prior; the employer allowed his employees to perform framing activities from the ceiling joists without fall protection exposing them to a fall hazard of 9 feet 7 inches to the ground below.  THE SANTOS GUZMAN DBA  GUZMAN FRAMING WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD OR ITS EQUIVALENT STANDARD 29 CFR 1926.501(B)(13), WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 1003661 CITATION NUMBER 1, ITEM NUMBER 1, AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON DECEMBER 15, 2014, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT LOT 95 FOUNTAIN VIEW MANSION, AUBURN, ALABAMA, IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 1184521 CITATION NUMBER 2, ITEM NUMBER 1, AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON NOVEMBER 22, 2016, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT LOT 66 SOUTHRIDGE, CYPRESS POINT, AUBURN, ALABAMA.
